IAPE Election of Officers: Nomination and Election Announcement

In accordance with the rules for the 2026 election of officers for IAPE TNG/CWA Local 1096, the union Elections Committee has determined the following members in good standing have been properly nominated, unopposed, and are declared "elected" to the office for which they were nominated for the term of office beginning December 1, 2026 and running through November 30, 2029:

Officers: 

  • President/CWA Delegate – Jodi Green

  • Vice President/CWA Delegate – Jennifer Kerrigan

  • Treasurer/CWA Delegate – Patience Haggin

  • Secretary/CWA Delegate – Tim Merle

Regional Directors: 

(Candidates must be employed in the geographic location they wish to represent) 

  • Mid-Atlantic – Saba Leverett, Ariana Vera

  • Midwest – Andrew Tangel, Mariah Timms

  • Northeast – Nick Devor, Christine Idzelis

  • Southeast – Jess Bravin, Marcus Weisgerber

  • Southwest – Harriet Torry

CWA At-Large Delegate: 

  • Tim Martell

The Election Committee confirms that no nominations were received for the following positions and has declared them “vacant” as of the beginning of the next term of office: 

  • Regional Director – Canada (1)

  • Regional Director – Mid-Atlantic (2)

  • Regional Director – Northeast (3)

  • Regional Director – Northwest (2)

  • Regional Director – Southeast (1)

  • Regional Director – Southwest (1)

  • CWA At-Large Delegate (1)

IAPE Bylaws state that vacant Regional Director positions shall be filled by appointment of the Local Board of Directors, subject to approval of the appointment by the Local membership within sixty (60) days. Any members who are interested in being appointed to a Board vacancy should contact a member of the IAPE Board.
