Memorial Service For Rob Fisher

Robert E. Fisher: 1955 - 2014

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, for Rob Fisher, 58, a long-time employee of Dow Jones Newswires and member of IAPE who passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 20.

Fisher, a 1977 graduate of Rider University, joined Dow Jones in December 1980. He held a number of editorial positions at Dow Jones, including as head of operations in the London bureau. Most recently, he was a special writer on the Real-Time News Desk in New York. Fisher, who was on short-term disability at the time of his passing, graduated from Allentown High School. Fisher, who lived in his hometown of Cranbury, N.J., previously worked for The Trentonian.

Fisher's memorial service will be held Saturday at Saul Funeral Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690 from 2-3 p.m.

Fisher's family has designated the American Liver Foundation for memorial contributions.
