In each and every visit I have made to Dow Jones locations across the country at least one person has raised a private concern about "how women are treated at Dow Jones." The complaints run the gamut: everything from pay and promotions to working environment and performance expectations.
IAPE is pressing a pay disparity grievance on behalf of a half a dozen employees — and preparing to argue our case before an independent arbitrator. But it appears there may be a larger issue at hand.
We need to hear from you. If you believe that you have been a victim of workplace discrimination — on the basis of your gender or any category provided in Article XX of our Contract — we need to know so that we can defend the rights of every member of IAPE.
