Harborside: It's Official
The arbitrator who reviewed the IAPE union cards in the Harborside organizing campaign has issued his ruling— and has officially declared an IAPE majority in Jersey City.
Dow Jones has informed employees at Harborside that they are now represented by IAPE and will enjoy the same written and enforceable contract rights and protections enjoyed by all other IAPE represented employees.
IAPE is delighted to welcome Harborside into the union.
We believe that the addition of Harborside has already made a difference in the company's stance in contract bargaining— and will continue to make a difference.

There's a lot of work to be done in reaching a contract agreement but the bottom line is still the same: real increases in wages, affordable health care expenses, cost of living protection and stronger job security.
